Artist's Comments
This was a robin from work. Some person thought it would be a good idea to raise her. They fed her improperly and she was malnourished. Her feathers didn't grow in properly. We boosted her up with worms to prepare her for the wild. But after a few days of living on her own, she died. This is when we released her. She looked out into the open, and didn't want to go. I feel as if her life was very sad, and I hope that at least her few days in the wild were good.
